How participants *want* to discuss their identity

How should researchers ask about race & ethnicity? We wanted to ensure all dscout participants felt they could accurately report their race and ethnicity. Through internal research, it became clear that single-select ethnicity options (common to most tools and surveys) were inadequate for multi-racial users.
